Create projects and manage plans

Set research goals, planned dates, status and project scope.

Last updated

Choose a project scope

Open Projects. Select all accessible projects or a research group in the sidebar. Continue a recent project from the dashboard, or search the project list.

Project Space currently manages goals, research directions, planned dates, status and members. Use the corresponding top-navigation modules for literature searches, knowledge bases and calculation workflows.

Create a project

Create or join a research group first. Use Create research group in the sidebar, or open group management to manage membership.

See Research groups for creation, invitation codes and member management.

Select New project and enter its name, research goal, group, direction, start and end dates, budget limit and visibility. For example:

  • Name: Perovskite interface passivation literature comparison.
  • Goal: Compare fabrication conditions and stability evidence for three passivation materials, and record questions requiring experiments.
  • Dates: Use the team's planned start and end dates.

Open the project after creation and check its details. The end date cannot precede the start date.

Update dates and status

The research plan shows planned dates and a timeline. It does not calculate completion from chats or calculation tasks. The budget is a configured limit, not actual expenditure.

The project owner can edit project information and set its status to planning, in progress, paused, completed or archived. Update it to reflect the team's assessment.

Archived projects remain available for reference, with editing and new invitations restricted. The owner can change the status to resume work. Delete an archived project only when it is no longer needed.

Invite members

As the project owner, open Project collaboration → Generate invitation link. Select a collaborator or viewer role and an expiry period, then generate and copy the link for the intended member.

Chinese interface. Confirm the project role and expiry before generating a link. Project and research-group memberships are managed separately.

After they sign in and accept, check the project member list. The collaboration panel shows pending and past invitations and lets you revoke unfinished invitations.

Project and research-group memberships are separate. Joining a project does not also join its research group or establish access to the group's knowledge bases.

Manage member permissions

The owner can change another member's role or remove them from the project. Collaborator and viewer actions depend on the permissions available in the interface. Project information and status are managed by the owner.

If edit or invitation controls are missing, check whether you are the owner and whether the project is archived. Contact the owner when project information needs to change.

See Project invitations and access for invitation, role and access-scope details.
